The Lord has been doing amazing things in our Healing Pools ministry! He has a plan and purposes for each of us, and is intimately involved in our lives. As you read these testimonies, realize again that stories don't just tell us what Yeshua did, but what He does! As He touched these lives and brought deliverance and healing, He can do the same for you. He wants you to walk in your divine destiny!

Like a chameleon, we take on the ways of those who surround us. Our tendency to do this varies with individuals, but this phenomenon is well known, and God knows it. We become like our spouse, our friends, our society, for better or for worse. God wants it to be for better.

February 11, 1986 will forever be etched on my memory. I, along with my family, along with every family in Israel sat riveted to the television to watch a hero's welcome. Crowds cheered as Russian refusenik Anatoly Sharansky descended the stairs of an airplane, looking somewhat haggard and bewildered. I don't think there was a dry eye in all of Israel that day! Explosions of worship and prayer could be heard rising from the Jerusalem Prayer Tower the week leading up to Yom Kippur. Clint Glenny, a former pastor from Las Vegas, Nevada, led a group from the Republic of China Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong, who joined with the local intercessors to engage in 50 hours of round-the-clock prayer. Many believers today are followers of Yeshua but they are not true disciples. They want to hear good preaching and teaching, to enjoy praise and worship, to be forgiven, to receive healing or a touch from God. They want what Yeshua can give them. Not too many choose to be His disciples-those who want a close relationship with Yeshua, who are willing to forsake their ways to embrace His.

The Lord is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear... Psalm 46:1 This psalm, as you can imagine, is one of our anthems, here in the land of Israel. But "ever-present" is a feeble translation. The usual Hebrew word for "presence" isn't used here. It's not talking about omnipresence, some ethereal cosmic abstract. I don't blame the translators, because we don't have an English expression for the phrase "nimtzah me'od." The modern Hebrew reader would understand it to mean, "very much right here." RIGHT HERE - with a superlative added!
